Tumbling Classes

Our tumbling program emphasizes the importance of safety and body awareness in a fun, friendly environment. Participants will learn the fundamentals of power tumbling as well as develop flexibility, strength, coordination. Whether participants are seeking a future in power tumbling, looking for the skills and strength to apply in other sports , or just wanting to get physically active in a fun way, our staff will facilitate a fun experience for all.

Winter/Spring session will end May 23.

Preschool Tumbling

Our tumbling instructor will work with preschoolers to build confidence as they learn and develop coordination, flexibility, and strength.  We will work on our preschool size bar for entry level bar work, balance beam, floor and trampoline.  Students will learn rolls, hand stands and other beginning tumbling and gymnastics skills..

Tuesday Afternoons – 2:30-3:15pm

Beginning Tumbling

Learn the basics of tumbling and build a foundation for more advanced skills such as back-springs.  Students will learn fundamental skills such as cartwheels, hand-stands, forward rolls, back-bends, back-bend kick-overs and more.

Wednesdays at 4-5pm      $28 monthly

Intermediate Tumbling

Improve basic tumbling skills and start to progress into more difficult skills such as back-handsprings, round-offs, back-walkovers, front walk-overs and more.

Wednesdays 5-6pm        $28 monthly

Advanced Tumbling

Continue to learn and perfect the back-spring.  Additionally students will start to learn the more challenging skills such as tucks, multiple back-handsprings, aerials and more.  This tumbling class is a must for those students that wish to try-out for cheerleading.

Mondays 6-7pm  $28 monthly

Summer Tumbling – June 6th through August 8th

Pre-school Class:  Thursdays, 10:15-11:00

Beginning Class:  Wednesdays, 4:00-5:00

Intermediate/Advanced Class:  Wednesdays, 5:00-6:00

Guitar

High Altitude Kids is excited to announce the offering of guitar lessons for kids 8 and older.  We are excited to have Ms. Lara join our team.  Lara has many years of classical guitar experience and enjoys teaching.  She is using her own blend of teaching as well as the Alfred Guitar method to bring music to your children.    $80/month
